Elton Dharry was born on the island of Leguan, Guyana, South America. Elton migrated to the United States of America when he was a teenager and settled in New York City. For the love of boxing, Elton started his amateur career at 16 years old in which he represented Guyana in the 2004 Olympics Box – Off.

Elton goal is to become the first Indian World Champion from Guyana and the Caribbean. Elton currently trains at the famous Gleason’s gym in Brooklyn, NY under trainer Scott Burrell.
